TESTIMONIALS
Becky on the Thief Dagger (Final Fantasy VI):
"I was extremely impressed with Ger's work from the first in-progress shot she showed me. There doesn't exist much in the way of concrete references for Locke's dagger, so I made a very rough sketch to show her what I had in mind for the shape of the blade. She matched the jagged and curved Amano-inspired design perfectly! The detailed hand-painted design on the hilt is beautiful and intricate, and the colors she chose matched those of my costume quite well. Furthermore, the material used to cover the handle is sturdy and will not fade or wear with handling. I am so impressed and pleased with the result - Ger truly has an eye for design and the skills to make high-quality products!"
Chris on the Ragnell (Fire Emblem):
"I'm really happy with the work that she did for me. I have to say my favorite part of the entire thing was that the balance was almost perfectly centered on the hilt guard so it was very easy to handle....It was much lighter than I expected it to be."
K-San09 on the Orichalcum (Final Fantasy IX) [joint project with my husband]:
"Let it be known that Ger is the best weaponsmith ever! If you have weaponsmithing needs (and have the proper dough) then hit Ger up because she, and her husband, are da sh*t."
Amelia on the Vanishing Star (Dead Fantasy)
"I met her at Anime Boston with her booth at the Artist Alley and immediately fell in love with her works when I flipped through pictures of them. A few days later, I contacted her with my commission request about the gunblade I wanted her to make and she drew up a contract that we both had to sign stating the terms, conditions, etc. This was my first commission so her drawing up a contract really impressed me: it told me that she was serious about my request. She was able to split the payment up in installments which made it MUCH easier for me. She responded to her e-mails VERY fast -- sometimes the same day or a day later. Communicating with her was great -- she seemed really really nice in her e-mails! She even showed me progress pictures in her Flickr, which made me excited every time I see a new picture of my gunblade. She's a really nice girl when I met up with her in person to pick up my gunblade and pay her the rest of the payment since we live close to each other. When I picked it up, I was SO happy! It looked just like Montyoum's design! So detailed and everything! I really died in the inside when I saw it in person. Overall, I had a REALLY great experience working with her! I LOVED IT!"
